I’m not a dietician or physician. Consult one before trying new diets. I want to share from experiences. I have noticed that certain foods make me feel better. There was a time that burger and fries made me feel bad but a burger and small shake made me feel like a million dollars. Am I saying, “try a burger and shake diet?” Absolutely not. I have just noticed that certain foods rest well in different chapters of life. Personally, I have started listening to that.
I believe (without empirical evidence so do not take this as science) our brains can sense when we need certain proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Our foods supply that.
One food source literature does support is soup, and I have been constantly craving soup lately. As I eat soup, I feel good. As we are in our last stretch of winter, talk to a professional and get soup recommendations. Something that can give you protein and boost the immune system.
