Read Psalm 78:2-7 and Genesis 1-3.
Thomas Sowell once said something to the extent we have raised people to feel their opinions matter, but we have not told them their opinions must have logic and facts. You are probably wondering what that has to do with the suggested scriptures. What does teaching children God’s works and the creation explanation have to do with Thomas Sowell?
I honestly believe the prevailing teachings about evolution are some of the most harmful foundations we are giving future generations. Children are taught Darwin’s theory on the “origin of species” is how we came to be. They are indoctrinated their lives are a mere link in an evolutionary chain from monkeys to a super species – monkeys, poo throwers.
Talk about devaluing human life. Is it any wonder we are up to four generations of Americans who are nihilistic? Why do you think teen suicide is an epidemic? When do they learn evolution? They are taught Darwinism in the impressionable times of adolescence and high school.
To counter the cancer that is evolution theory, start with God’s word in Genesis 1-3. One problem we are up against is our education system teaches evolution as a “what.” This is what we know and don’t debate it. Schools, universities, and pop science magazines do not teach “why.” Why do we know this is true? That debate would cause evolution to fall and people would have to acknowledge God’s account is right.
If you do not believe me, take 50 minutes and watch this discussion from the Hoover Institute. It may be one of the most productive hours you spend on YouTube. The logic and facts criticizing Darwin are game changing.
It is time to delight in the Lord by taking back the discussion of existence. God created man. The evidence is out there. The Hoover Institute documents the power behind the mathematical and biological impossibilities that humans came from monkeys.
Application for fathers: Spend time reading Genesis 1-3 with your kids, and ask them how they feel? Isn’t there a calming effect those chapters have?
